Under the $31 million federal Charter Schools Program grant, Building on Success for Future has pledged to add no less than 5,900 new, high-quality charter school seats over the next five years for Idaho’s most educationally disadvantaged and rural students.

Subgrantee schools will be selected through a rigorous third-party review process. Awarded applicants will be evaluated on a number of criteria, including instructional leadership, governance, the ability to attract and retain talent, sustainable financial practices, demonstrable market demand, and an innovative and effective educational model.
